January 2010: Rapid & Aggressive Expansion
Posted by: | CommentsNovember 27th marked my official entry into Affiliate Marketing. After just my 1st month in this industry, I’ve managed to make about 360$ in profit after putting a little over 500$.
My biggest problem when starting out was having a source of funding, but thanks to some careful planning and a great brother in law, I was able to rack up some money to invest in my business. That was the biggest problem when I was starting out, but not so much anymore. Now the problem is getting my revenue back so I can re-invest it and grow it once again.
Most networks pay on a Net-15 basis, which is just terrible for someone that’s impatient and wants to keep the wheels turning. Luckily there are some networks, like EWA, who pay weekly no matter what. This makes it really appealing to new affiliates that are trying to quickly grow their business.
January 2010 Goal
My goal in January is to produce at least a 50% ROI weekly. I have some offers that I know I can work with and achieve these results, especially once I optimize them. I’m still using Facebook as my advertising platform, and I may be moving onto Plenty of Fish with some successful campaigns. It appears to be a somewhat untapped advertising source, and some high ROI’s can be expected with the right offers.
Alright, let’s make some money in 2010!
Maximizing End of Year Profits
Posted by: | CommentsWith the end of the month quickly approaching, I wanted to get a campaign running really quickly to get it making me some money. It turned out to be much easier than I anticipated to increase my bottom line, and increase my ROI for December in just a couple hours.
I ran a campaign last night with a 28% ROI, and continued running it tonight with a higher payout, and that 28% ROI has jumped to a 215% ROI.
The best feeling in the world is that I can make more income online in 2 hours time, than I made working my job from 2pm-10:30pm.
It’s the biggest motivating factor to know that it is possible to make money online, and that it’s not IMPOSSIBLE, like many people tend to believe.
Because of the last couple hours, I’ve increased my profit for December from 195$ to 292$.
Thank you Facebook, and EWA!
The Last Week
Posted by: | CommentsToday I was informed that I may have kept my readers (apparently I have a few, haha) in the dark about my progress. So… here’s an update.
I made $42,592,928,492.29 in 24 hours using this proven system, CLICK HERE NOW!
I’m joking.
Here are my Stats since Nov 28th.
| Investment | Revenue | Profit | ROI |
| $395.84 | $591.45 | $195.61 | 49.42% |
This is from a total of 7 campaigns. 2 of those 7 campaigns failed and I lost some money on. Some of the campaigns were originally showing a 100% ROI but lead scrubbing came into effect and my profit margins decreased. I did get my money back though
That’s all I got for now.
82.44$ Profit – End of Day 12/6/2009
Posted by: | CommentsMy last post was a big mess of excitement. So I’m writing this one to give show you exactly what happened today.
Advertising Platform: Facebook
Offer: E-mail Submit
Offer Optimization: 12 Advertisements. Started offer out in CPC to test conversion rate, then took converting ads and activated them as CPM, while pausing the CPC counterparts. (CPC’s started out at 75 cents per click.)
I set the initial budget at 10$ to test the offer. I got 9 conversions, and earned 13.50$ in revenue despite the high CPC. 3.50$ from testing the offer, nice!
End of day Ad Spend: 81.06$
End of Day Conversions Total: 109
End of Day Revenue: $163.50
End of Day profit: $82.44

Quick Update for November/December
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve been pretty busy lately. Haven’t even thought about my blog too much, but I thought I’d post a quick update as to what’s happened in the last couple day.
I signed up for Affiliit, which is an online training program for Internet Marketing. And it’s been incredibly helpful. More so than anything else I’ve stumbled upon.
(You can click on the link on the top right corner to check them out)
In the past 2 days, I’ve spent 41$ on advertising on facebook and have earned $83.10 in revenue. Take the revenue and subtract the ad cost, and you get a nice 100% Return on investment. Wouldn’t you love to pay 40$ to make 40$?
I did that over 2 days, spending 20$ one day and 21$ the next day. It’s a lot more money than my adsense makes monthly, but still not enough to quit my day job.
I expect to be making 50-100$ a DAY by January. And it’s just going to go up from there.
I signed up for Affiliit on November 24th or 25th. 10 days later and I’m already making profits. What can Affiliit do for you?
Ethno-Market Targeting with Facebook and MySpace
Posted by: | CommentsThose that use Facebook and Myspace for advertising know that those platforms are great for laser targeting your ads to the proper audience. If you need to advertise to 18-25 year old females, you just have to click a few buttons and select a few items from a drop-down menu, and presto! you got it. You can even go as far as targeting people who like Family Guy, or the New York Yankees. It’s a really great platform, but like every thing that is great there is a downside. They don’t allow you to target races, which is quite understandable.
So what can you do to target an offer that’s geared toward a specific group of people?
- Target Fraternities and Sororities that are mainly for a certain race.
- Target Schools that have a high density of a certain ethnicity.
- Target the surrounding city of the above mentioned school.
- Target Cities with high densities of certain races.
- Target Native Languages
Check out the list below, it should help you out in your Ethno-Targeting:
- List of U.S. cities with large African American populations
- List of U.S. metropolitan areas with large African-American populations
- List of U.S. communities with Asian American majority populations
- List of U.S. cities with significant Chinese American populations
- List of U.S. cities with large Vietnamese American populations
- List of U.S. cities with large Hispanic populations
- List of U.S. cities with large Filipino American populations
- Lists of U.S. cities with large ethnic populations
Status of My First Successful Facebook Campaign
Posted by: | CommentsA few days ago I got 100$ free in facebook Ads credit and began experimenting with a few affiliate offers and CPA offers. There were a few campaigns that failed and made me nothing, but I have one campaign that’s currently showing profit potential. Naturally I can’t reveal what it is, but I can say that the offer is not targeted to Facebook users in the US.
I’ve spent $21.36 advertising the offer and earned $18.60 so I have a “loss” of $2.76 but because of my good CTR% my CPC keeps going down and I also have an average 10% conversion rate. If I can get the CPC down to 0.25-0.35 I’ll have an ROI of 25%-47%, as long as my conversion remains at 10%. That doesn’t seem to bad for my first campaign. Luckily I’m not spending any of my own money yet, but this campaign looks like it can very well be promising.
As much as I hate the long time it takes Facebook to approve ads, it seems like they offer a good advertising platform.
FaceBook Ads – Am I Going Crazy?
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve launched 3 campaigns on facebook over the last few days and all of those got approved with no problem. Today I try to launch a very targeted campaign and I get 3 ads disapproved.
The first and 2nd time I can understand why the Ad was disapproved, but the third time makes no sense at all. They said that for this type of offer certain people must be targeted, and I had that nailed the 1st time. They keep telling me I’m wrong, even though there’s no way I can be.
Then they claim that I’m using ‘unacceptable or inappropriate language’, as is stated here:
The text of this ad contains language that is unacceptable or inappropriate. Per sections 4 and 7 of Facebook’s Advertising Guidelines, ad text must relate directly to the content of the landing page. The ad text may not mention any user attribute unless it is directly relevant to the offer. The text may not contain offensive, profane, vulgar, obscene, adult or inappropriate language, or demean or insult a user in any way. If you choose to submit this ad again, please make the necessary changes so that it adheres to all of Facebook’s Advertising Guidelines.
My ad does not contain any such things… This leaves me confused and increasing my anti-facebook ads mentality. The ad is completely relevant to the landing page, and all text is appropriate.
I just submitted a new ad, which seems very clear and concise. I wonder what they’ll say this time. If this one doesn’t work, I’m contacting them.
100$ In Free Facebook Advertising
Posted by: | CommentsGet your free 100$ credit here: http://apps.facebook.com/visabusiness/sign_up
The Visa Business Network is offering a 100$ free facebook ad credit to anyone that signs up for their network. Signing up takes 1 minute and requires basic information like name, email, and related info. It’s a great way to start out as a marketer and see if you can maybe earn more money than you received in free advertising. It’s ideal because if you’re new to affiliate marketing, you want to be able to test the waters without losing a lot of money.
Some people may say 100$ is no where near enough to get started, but I completely disagree. If you’re doing PPC on Google, then you’re more than likely going to need a bit more than 100$ to make some money. But Facebook ads are less expensive and the geo-targetting feature is great. They also help you target many other demographics that can help you run a successful campaign that search engines won’t be able to accomodate.
So if you know exactly who your market is, you can easily target them and increase your conversions.
I’ll be starting my 100$ campaign in the upcoming days. I’m hoping to double my investment, at least.
