23 Directories To Get Your Link Building To The Next Level
Posted by: | CommentsLink building is probably the most frustrating part of any SEO campaign. There are plenty of relevant websites you can place your links on, but finding them is half the battle. Being able to post your link, or get your link posted is the other half.
This battle is what keeps me from doing SEO in the first place, however, I’ve decided to move forward and get a few more websites running. I’ve been successful in ranking a website in the Acne niche 2nd for a primary keyword, and 1st for about 5 other related keywords. It’s because that website is doing well that I am motivated to start up a few more websites with a few affiliate products. There’s a few physical products that I know a lot about and wouldn’t mind making a few review sites for to generate some passive income from. I’ve also found a couple niches, which may turn into gold mines with some hard work. As a result, I need to find all possible places to get back-links from so I can succeed in achieving my goals.
Soooo…. I’ve prepared a list of 23 websites that are either FREE submission directories, or are websites that provide links to more directories and websites that you can drop your link at. I hope they help you out, and if they do… Link back to this page from your blog or Tweet this

I Hate SEO (Sometimes)
Posted by: | CommentsI haven’t been running any campaigns on facebook for the last week, and won’t be running anything for a another week or two because I’ve exhausted my advertising budget. As a result I’ve had to focus my efforts on my SEO websites. Unfortunately, between August and October I was pumping out 1-2 new websites monetized with AdSense every week and I’m just sick and tired of the work required to rank a website.
In many ways, I believe SEO to be much more difficult than PPC advertising because of all the various theories out there about what’s the best way to optimize a site. I’ve had a lot of luck getting a couple websites optimized and ranked well, but the process is just so tedious that I want to turn around and walk away every time I think about doing some link building.
The thing that keeps me coming back time and time again is that it is passive income. I have 2 websites that are collectively earning 1$ a day on average. I know it doesn’t sound like much, but if I were to slowly scale that up to 100 websites, I’d have a nice ‘base salary’ from SEO, and my CPA PPC campaigns could count as my ‘commissions’.
It really all comes down to having the patience, and work ethic to write articles and build back-links daily. Writing articles over and over for one website just makes me feel like I’m being redundant in what I’m saying, and I hate keeping track of all the links I post.
Ok, enough complaining. I got that off my chest, and no it’s time to man up!
Action plan:
Make a list of websites I have to write articles for, then do 2-4, 200-300 word articles a day.
Find 5 Do-Follow directories / blogs to post links to.
Watch what happens.

Monetizing Niche Websites with CPA Offers
Posted by: | CommentsLately, I have been building niche websites and monetizing them using Google AdSense. This method is perfectly fine but conversions aren’t always great. And why not try to make more money per visitor?
I’ve read that it’s best to monetize a website only one way, to focus the clicks on one place rather than several. Which makes sense, especially if there is a payout threshold that needs to be reached before you get a check. But what if you could do both effectively?
Keep AdSense on your website, but have a lightbox advertise a CPA offer that opens in either a popup window, or in a whole new window. Then when they complete the offer they can come back to your website and maybe click on another advertisement.
I’ll have to do some trial and error on this to see if it works, but first I need one of the 3 CPA networks I applied for to approve me so that I can start testing. I’ve got one website that’s a prime candidate, but it’s going to have to wait until I’m a part of an affiliate network.
My best day yet

But there you go, I woke up to 1.31$ in earnings and my earning tripled by the end of the night.
–Morning Update–
By midnight, the 3.84$ rose to 4.11$. That’s from 1 website only. I have others running but this one pulled in the dough last night.

PageRank Update
Posted by: | CommentsLooks like Google did a PageRank update recently. Wizno.com is a PR1 website now, that’s more than I can assume it’s ever been. Looks like my website is gaining some authority in the eyes of “G” aka Google. In case you didn’t know, Google is God when it comes to the internet. Google giveth and Google taketh. You may experience the pleasure and pain of that true statement if you ever commit yourself to Internet Marketing like I have.
PageRank can help you rank better for keywords, but it does not mean you will always dominate for any and every keyword. Google will trust you to provide valid content, and as a result bumps up your results because it sees you as an “authority” on a particular subject.
More Results
Posted by: | CommentsSo yesterday I posted some results I’ve been seeing for a few websites I’ve been working on. Today I checked back on the search engine rankings for a site that’s been up for less than a week, and it’s already ranking VERY well.
See Below:
As you can see I’m aiming for 6 long tail keywords, and just the other day most of my results were in the 60-97th spots. What caused the sudden major increase? Could have been better internal link building, good external link building, and posssibly just good SEO optimized right out the door. All I know is I’m using the methods taught by The Keyword Academy, and they’re working just as they should.
Are Your Efforts Paying Off?
Posted by: | CommentsGood question. The answer is yes.
I’ve got a total of 13 or 14 registered domain names. Most are on different topics, but I do have Wizno.com and Wizno.net registered, and I brought back WiznoSpeed.com though that’s just a way for me to get free car parts*. For the time being, I’m not driving any traffic through SEO to my personal website. But one day… one day I will. Right now it’s a waste of time.
I have 4 website traffic stats hi-lighted in the image above. The first one is a website I started just over a month ago, and it brings in a handful of visitors each day, however I only made the website and am letting it sit. I haven’t done too much in terms of linking to it. The other websites hi-lighted websites are no more than a week old, and they are driving traffic through Google daily. None of them are ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd… not even 4th for any keywords that they are targeted for. None of which are on the first page, a couple show up on the 2nd page results, but only about 2-3% of people go to pages on the 2nd+ page of search results.
Each of the websites I have will eventually be bringing in between 50-100 unique visitors each day. That’s between 1500 and 3000 visitors per month. Sometimes more sometimes less. But it’s all potential to earn a few bucks per day. If you scale this by making many websites targeted for specific niches, you can be making a nice chunk of change in the long run. Once a website gains authority in the eyes of google, it will make it easier to target more competitive search terms. For example, if you start a website targeting “Insurance” you will not rank on the 1st page anytime soon, but let’s say there’s 2000 people searching for “the cheapest insurance policy in florida” each month, and you don’t see Geico, Progressive, or any of the other insurance giants anywhere on the first page for those results? Now you have a fighting chance. In fact, you might be able to rank for that term within a couple months, whereas trying to rank for “insurance” will take years, and true dedication.
How are you learning to do this?
I’m signed up at The Keyword Academy. They’re teaching people who have noexperience in making websites and internet marketing exactly how to go about doing so and creating a profit. They’ve got instructional videos and a forum for support. Everything you need is outlined for your to succeed. If you don’t succeed, you’re just not following their instructions, it’s as simple as that.
The best part is they offer the first month for 1$. So all you have to lose is 1$ and a few hours of your time to learn how to make money online.
Outbound Links Are Just As Important as Inbound Links
Posted by: | CommentsSo I came across an article the other day that said outbound links are just as important as inbound links. Their reasoning for it was that when google crawls your website and finds that you’re pointing people to other relevant content, then you yourself must be relevant to the subject as well.
It seemed like an interesting concept and the logic was strong so I’m trying it on one of my websites to see what happens. It’ll probably take a few days before I notice anything, but progress is progress.
I added about 7 links in total, which at first made me wonder if that just may drive away traffic from the site. But I overcame that small obstacle by placing the links in an area of the site that’s not very easily noticeable. That way I can have my cake and eat it too! That’s what I’m all about.
In a week or so I’ll report back letting you know if this benefited me at all. So stay tuned in and you’ll find out what happens.
Daily Website Checkup
Posted by: | CommentsThey say it’s best not to check your stats every 5 minutes because you’ll go crazy, but I just can’t help it. Besides, I’m not actually checking them every 5 minutes, it’s really only 2-3 times daily. I like to see where my traffic is coming from, so I can optimize my site to bring in from sources I didn’t know could bring me traffic.
I launched a health related site about 3 weeks ago and it’s been bringing in at least 1 unique visitor per day. That may not seem like much at all, but these are people that are coming in from organic SEO. This is something I had not accomplished before and I’m very happy to be able to bring in any traffic and rank well for any keywords that can bring me good profits. I had mentioned in my Internet Marketing Isn’t So Impossible After All post that I’ve been building websites for years but never knew how to drive traffic, so you can understand why this is a “mile stone” for me to get a website up and within 3 weeks already be driving a tiny amount of traffic to it.
The biggest problem I’m having is just doing the daily tasks necessary to complete the website and get it to rank for several other keywords. I tend to get distracted fairly easily and due to the repetitive nature of internet marketing and SEO, it just gets boring quickly sometimes. It’s something I’m proud to say I’m improving on, and one day soon I’ll have no problem spending most of my day just working on improving the ranking of other projects.
Until then I’m going to keep learning and keep following my path to success. Then one day I’ll post some earnings that will be sure to impress anyone.
