Society has molded us to a lifestyle that is not appropriate for everyone. We’re taught as we’re growing up that it is necessary to go to school when we’re young, get into college when we’re older, and find a great job when we graduate. Unfortunately, there is no flexbility with that script.
When you think about starting a new business or doing something that departs from society’s norms you’re met by a lot of resistance. This can come from your family telling you that what you’re doing is not normal, or your friends telling you that it’s not going to work and you’re wasting your time. It creates a very volatile environment for someone really trying to break free from what is and become what they want. In any situation, they tell you to stick to what you’re doing because that’s the de facto procedure.
The fact of the matter is that fear of failure is preventing new marketers from succeeding.
This way of thinking makes it seem impossible to do whatever it is that you really want to do, which in this case is becoming an internet marketer. As I’ve been learning new information related to the field over the last couple weeks, I’ve had to change the way I look at internet marketing and what it can provide for me. I’ve come to realize that internet marketing simply means becoming an independent business owner that is an expert in the field of marketing information on the world wide web. It’s really just another job, but one where you can really make a great life for yourself by working as hard as you want to. In addition, your pay really does increase if you put more effort into your new ‘career’. You’re not prevented from making more money by a limited about of schedulable hours due to the economy. And if you’re really committed and willing to learn, you can and will succeed and live life on your terms.
Ask yourself: What is preventing me from living life the way I want to live it?
